THOMAS J. BALDWIN, Age 81. Beloved husband of Patricia "Pat" (nee Needham) married June 24, 1967; loving father of Patti Baldwin, Tom (Michelle) Baldwin, Tina Baldwin and Jim Baldwin; dear grandfather of Morgan, Kaitlin, Evelyn, Quintin, Gregory, Alyssa and Colleen; great-grandfather of Savannah, Khaleesi, Remington, Scarlet, Xander, Lucas and Thea; brother of Raymond (Barbara), David (Virginia), Sharon Martin and Mary Catherine Liebenguth; preceded in death by parents Harry J. and Catherine G. (nee Kelley) Baldwin and brothers Edward and Alton. Tommy began his 30 year pipefitting career in 1965 with the Central Automatic Sprinklers' Apprenticeship training. A proud lifelong member of Pipefitters Local 120 he worked on projects at the Cleveland Public Library, Stouffer's Inn on the Square, I-X Center, Thistledown Race Track, Halle's Downtown and the Rainforest at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Tommy had a great affinity for the ponies, daily reading and analyzing the racing form before heading to Thistledown or Northfield often times with his cousin Mickey Coughlin. Tommy's cousins were his best friends and he was his happiest spending time with them and his many aunts and uncles. He was always there for his siblings, children, neighbors and anyone else who needed a helping hand. Alzheimer's robbed Tommy of the last 5 years of his life. He was, however, able to remain in his home and was selflessly cared for by his son, Jim. Jim's siblings want to express their eternal gratefulness for the loving care Jim provided. Although Tommy loved a loud party and spread his dry sense of humor wherever he went, he decided an Irish exit was the best way to leave this last party, as he passed away peacefully on October 14, 2023.
