Dover, New Hampshire – It is with deep and profound grief that the family of Thomas M. Bane, 25, of Dover shares the news of his passing on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
Born on June 19, 1999, in Nashua to Michael and Robben (Stice) Bane, he shed love and light on all those who knew him from his first day.
Thomas graduated with high honors from Dover High School with the class of 2017. He enjoyed playing competitive paintball and lacrosse. He also enjoyed connecting with friends from around the world on video and online gaming sites, cars, innovative technology, and most recently golf with his friend Sean. He was anything and everything when it came to electronics. Whether he was fixing, changing or modifying, the device was always improved after being in Thomas's hands. He also had a passion for music; he enjoyed a variety of genres such as Indie rock, Jam Bands, piano and some Folk music. He sought out songs that spoke to him with meaningful and authentically heartfelt lyrics.
Tom was caring and compassionate to all and advocated for equality, acceptance and rights among his closest social and family groups. He was a "dog whisperer" and found great companionship with even the most difficult of dogs. He was pure, generous and often hilarious. He lifted those around him with his comical insights and quick wit; family occasions were always enhanced by Thomas' presence. Tom was incredibly smart and could see and articulate his feelings about the hypocrisy and shortcomings of our current world. At the same time, he was able to easily create beautiful moments of joy and laughter with the people around him.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Thomas Richard and Joan Lentino Bane, and maternal grandfather Harry Stice. Survivors include his father Michael Lentino Bane of Dover, mother Robben Lee (Stice) Bane of Summerville, SC; sisters Adaire Nichelle Bane of Denver, CO and Kelly Morrill of Lakewood, CO; aunts Amelia Lentino-Bane, Maria Bane-Jacobs, Linda Stice-Hildebrandt, Marsha Stice, uncles Richard Thomas Bane and Donald Hildebrandt ; cousins Carmyn Chapman, Gabrielle Chapman, Tessa Chapman, Victoria Stice-Hildebrandt, Brody Stice-Hildebrandt, Adam Labrie and Tyler Signer.
Services: Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 10th at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Avenue, Dover, New Hampshire. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, August 10th also at Tasker Funeral Home. For online condolences, please visit: www.taskerfuneralservice.com.

Been playing games and hanging out online with Thomas for a good while. Gaming with him was always a good time. He was a joy to have around and was a genuinely amazing, thoughtful person and friend. I will always treasure our time as friends and I give my condolences to his family.

I never got to meet Thomas in person as we played online games together, but he was one of the greatest people I've met and someone I consider to be a close personal friend. I always enjoyed getting in call together with him and playing games, his positive outlook and funny banter always kept the gaming sessions a good time. I am truly going to miss him and give my condolences to his family and friends. We have truly lost a amazing person in this world.
