Thomas Barker, Jr. Obituary
Thomas A. Barker, Jr., 92 of Latonia, Ky passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on October 28, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He retired after 45 years with the Iron Workers Local #44, enjoyed skeet(trap) shooting at Moonlight Hunting & Fishing Club, loved the outdoors while hunting and fishing, enjoyed all aspects of farming and showing others how to live off the land. Tom was born in Alabama and was a huge Alabama football fan (roll tide). He was preceded in death by his Loving Wife, Lois Barker, Parents, Thomas A. Barker, Sr. and Mattie Gertrude Cagle Barker, Sister, Mary Ripberger, Brothers, Howard Barker and Donald Barker. Tom is survived by his Daughter, Kim (late Danny) Simmons, Son, Tim (Kim) Barker; Sisters, Linda Kenney, Peggy Litton, Mattie Daunt and Gale ( the late Larry) Munchen; Grandchildren, Dustin, Brittany, April & Danny; Great Grandchildren, Ethan, Jackson, Madison, Zoey, Danny, Whitlye and Maddux. A visitation will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 11 am until the Service at 1 pm, with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
