His Family Thomas will be missed by his parents, Barry & Gail Van Tiem; siblings, Anne (Marty) Thallman, Reed (Jill) Van Tiem, Stephen Van Tiem; nieces and nephews, Abby (Sam) Sundell, Jak (Natalie) Kroll, Reed Van Tiem, Luke Van Tiem; mentor of and special friend to Ricky Simpson.
His Farewell Thomas's family and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, November 25, 2022 at 10:30AM (9:30 gathering) at St. Patrick's Church, Brighton, Michigan. Father Mathias Thelen will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Capuchin Soup Kitchen. The memories I have with Tom go back decades. And I will cherish every one of them. Growing up, we spent so much time at each others houses, playing baseball, golf and eating apple jacks. To Mr. and Mrs Van Tiem, Ann, Reed and Steve and the extended family, I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing.
