Tom Bayless , 94, went to his eternal rest on Friday, December 2, 2022.

Born Thomas William Bayless in Beebe, Ar. on May 5, 1928 to Wylie W. And Vennie (Gerhardt) Bayless

At the age of 18, he joined the Army Air Corp that later became the U.S. Air Force. He served 20 years attaining the rank of Master Sergeant.

Tom married Joy (Wood) Bayless on December 10, 1962. Together they raised six children.
He worked as an over the road truck driver and as an owner operator before retiring from trucking in 1990.

He was an avid golfer and could be found on the course several days a week even into his 90's
He was a member of New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers, Ar.

His survivors include his wife, Joy, of the home, seven children: Betty Stamford of Springdale, Ar,; Carol Hale of Rogers, Ar,; Robert Lawvey and wife Linda of Vacaville, Ca.; Kenneth Lawvey of Bella Vista, Ar. And Brenda Young and husband Larry of Springdale, Ar.; Vicki Byrne and husband Tom of Wichita, Ks.; Will Bayless of Mountain Home, Ar.;

He was preceded in death by his daughters Kathy Muruaga and Kimberly Thomas

He had a large extended family including: 20 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, and many Great Great Grandchildren.
Tom was known for his generous spirit and willingness to help anyone that needed help.


Visitation and Memorial will be held at:
New Hope Assembly of God
2626 W. New Hope Rd.
Rogers, Ar

Visitation will be Monday, December 5, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022 10:00 A.M. followed by graveside service at Fayetteville National Cemetery,Pastor James Longmate officiating.
