BENTLEY JR.- Thomas Wardell Bentley Jr., age 93, of Snellville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday January 7, 2026. A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, January 11, at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville, GA. He had a distinguished career as an employee at General Motors, where he worked for 45 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who always offered kindness, wisdom, and a steady presence to those around him. Outside of his professional life and family commitments, Thomas was an avid hobbyist. He had a great passion for animals and enjoyed the lively company of his diverse assortment of chickens, goats, and dogs. He also found peace and fulfillment tending to his beloved garden, a testament to his patience and care for living things. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Mamie (Stovall) & Thomas Bentley Sr. and three siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years Sadie (Lord) Bentley, son Tommy Bentley, daughter Elizabeth Bentley, grandson Andrew Bentley, granddaughter Ashley Bentley, granddaughter Victoria Bentley, eight great grandchildren, sister Bobbie Ann Brownlee and sister Gloria Burroughs.
