Thomas Bink Obituary
ALBANY - Thomas R. Bink, 81, of Albany, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Tom was born in Albany, the son of the late Kenneth R. Bink Sr. and Jennie Cady Bink, and he lived here all his life. He was employed for many years by the Simmons Machine Tool Company in Menands. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Americas Church (formerly St. Patrick's Church), where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and a Sacristan. He was a fan of the Harry Potter films, and using his tablet for Taipei and solitaire. But his greatest joy was loving his family and grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Martha V. Koury Bink; his daughter, Tammy Crasto (Conrad) of Albany; his granddaughters, Teresa Crasto-Donnelly (Peter) and Christina Crasto (Will Barnes), both of Albany; and his great-grandson, Thomas Crasto-Donnelly.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hudson Park Nursing Home and Community Hospice for the wonderful care they provided Tom.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, in Our Lady of the Americas Church, Central Ave. and North Lake Ave., at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends may call at the church prior to the Mass, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. MARTY, YOU AND TOM WERE THE BACKBONE OF OUR PARISH FOR MANY YEARS. I ALWAYS APPRECIATED HOW TOM ALWAYS STEPPED UP TO DO WHATEVER WAS NEEDED AND FR. O'CONNOR FELT THE SAME WAY. I HOPE YOUR BEAUTIFUL AND LOVING FAMILY WILL STAY CLOSE TO YOU. MY PRAYERS TO YOU.
