Thomas "Tom" Boyle, age 100, of Waynesville, Ohio, formerly of Highland, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, November 24, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Born on October 28, 1925, in Hillsboro, Ohio, Tom was the son of the late George and Margery Patton Boyle. He devoted his life to service - both to his community and his country. After 32 years of dedicated work, he retired as Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Land Bank of Highland County. A proud U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Tom continued his leadership and service throughout his life. He was a member and past Elder of the Leesburg Church of Christ, served as president of the Highland County Water Company, and was a former member of the Highland County Children's Home Board. On April 16, 1950, Tom married the love of his life, Jeanne Murray Boyle, who survives him. Together they built a large, loving family. He is also survived by two daughters, Carol (Dave) Gustin of Waynesville and Ellen (Brent) Zink of Hillsboro; one son, Thomas Michael (Lara) Boyle of Michigan; and a bonus son, Tom "Rudy" (Pam) Rudisill of Cincinnati. He is also survived by Terri Boyle of Leesburg, widow of his son Kevin Boyle. Tom leaves behind thirteen grandchildren: Devin Boyle, Kristen (Brent) Carter, Erin (Jared) Miller, Kara (Ryan) Dame, Nathan (Susan) Zink, Adam (Monica) Zink, Megan (Nathan) Rutledge, Mary Beth (Aaron) McKenzie, Bridgette (Jared) Warner, Shelley Rudisill, Ryan (Morgan) Rudisill, Brenna Rudisill, and Patrick (Courtney) Rudisill, as well as twenty-seven great-grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of kindness, integrity, and faith. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Boyle; one sister, Helen Boyle Fulmer; and one brother, Robert Boyle. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, at the Leesburg Church of Christ, with Kevin Stuckey officiating. Burial will follow in Hightop Cemetery, with military honors presented by the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will take place at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Butler Springs Christian Camp, 3701 S. R. 41, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or online at butlersprings.com. The family is being served by Turner & Son Funeral Home.
