Thomas R. Briggs, Sr., 76, of Palmer Township, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at his home. Born February 23, 1950 in Jackson, Michigan, he was the son of the late William C. and Maxine A. (Latte) Briggs and husband of Julie M. (Lee) Briggs.
He worked as a finance manager for AT&T, Bedminster, New Jersey for thirty-three years and then at Home Depot, Easton for ten years before retiring. Thomas honorably served in the US Army during Vietnam and was a member of the Vigilance Hose Company, No.1, Nazareth, West Easton Fire Co. and the East Lawn Social Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Thomas R. Briggs, Jr. and his wife Kelley of Forks Township, daughter, Christina wife of Michael Eberhardt of Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren, Devon, Megan, and Katlyn, brother, Jeffrey Briggs and wife Connie of Michigan, sisters, Sue Markille of Tennessee, and Carol wife of Rob Gow of Kentucky, sister-in-law, Linda wife of David Gaertner of Michigan. He was predeceased by brothers, Michael Briggs and Gerald Briggs.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the Bartholomew Schisler Funeral Home, 211 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
