Thomas Broadbelt Obituary
Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Sherman and Virginia (Janiuk) Broadbelt.
For 30 years, Tom worked for Upper Providence Township (UPT) of which 26 years he served as the Director of Public Works. He proudly served in the United Sates Navy Seabees as an equipment operator. Thomas had a passion for classic cars and attending car shows. He enjoyed family trips to Ocean City, Maryland. Thomas most of all loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving along with his wife is his daughters Danielle Duffy wife of Tim and Mackenzie Mintzer wife of Michael; grandchildren Hailey, Eloise, Laila, and Kira; sister Cynthia Farra wife of Tom; niece Mandee and Gabby; and nephew A.J.
A celebration of life will be planned by the family for a date this spring. Once the date is confirmed we will send out a notification.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas' memory to your favorite animal rescue or shelter and to the American Heart Association.

Tom, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The equipment is now silent and final volley has sounded. Taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
