Thomas Floyd Brown, Sr. 83 of Jonesboro, GA died Monday, February 22, 2026, at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA.

Tom, as his family and friends knew, was born January 14, 2026, in Alexander City, AL the son of Henry Floyd Brown and Majorie Autrey Brown. Tom grew up in Meriwether County and along with his wife maintained a residence in Woodland, GA. He was a superintendent for construction crews most of his life. He loved working on cars and was a big NASCAR fan. Tom also enjoyed woodworking projects. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Jeffrey Brown.

He is survived by his wife Linda Brown, of Jonesboro, GA, his children Thomas Floyd (Lisa) Brown, Jr., David Carlton (Sandra) Brown, Jennifer L. (Robby) Dunlap and Katherine Pike, grandchildren Thomas Floyd (Amii) Brown, III, Tammy L. (Ray) Lyles, Lauren E. Brown, Nicholas A. (Trisha) Brown, Jessica J. Dunlap and Joseph L. Dunlap, Kimberley Pike great-grandchildren Hayley J. Brown, Cameron Brown, Mary L. Reed, Owen Blevins, Alden Blevins Reagen Jean Brown and Ivory Pike, siblings, Charles Brown, Dianne Garrett, Henry Brown and Angela Wellborn and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services for Mr. Thomas Floyd Brown will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Manchester, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
