Nancy, Thomas and Lizzy, I am so incredibly sad for you; and for myself. Tom is one of my favorite people in the world and I thought I would see him again. I will never forget how much fun we had bartending together at the Beachcomber. A group of bikers came in one day, and one guy had a prosthetic leg covered by a cowboy boot. He took the whole thing off and asked me if I´d fill it with draft beer. I was pretty freaked out so I asked Tom what I should do. He said he´d handle it, and I watched him take the guy´s leg/boot and fill it up with beer! So many funny things!! He was also so thoughtful and kind. He made the effort to come and show support when my son Louie died, and has so generously donated to our Live For Lou Fund. There are so many things I could say and I´m so sorry I wasn´t able to be with you today. I´m holding all of you in my heart and sending so much love. Rest In Peace, Tom. I will never forget you.

Cassidy Family,
Sorry for your loss of Tom.I was Tom's coach, teacher and Asst Principal during his time as a student athlete at Cardinal McCloskey HS.Always a friendly and pleasant young man with a smile,He was a pleasure and represented the "Cardinals" in a positive manner.Had the pleasure of meeting up with him later in life upon his return to the Albany Area.He was so happy about his marriage to Nancy and raising their two children,Tom and Elizabeth. His dedication to his family and volunteer work in the community was outstanding. He will be sorely missed.I'm sure he made everyone, including yours truly, proud of his accomplishments. My prayers and sympathy to all.Rest in peace my friend.

The last time I saw Tom was when if you wanted to call someone you opened the kitchen window and yelled out. However, we did have many adventures together back in the day. I remember that at parties or social gatherings one would only have to follow the laughter to find Tom. On one of his Trips to Ireland I have a feeling that not only did Tom kiss the Blarney Stone but took a big bite out of it. Tom was surely a people person. From prince to pauper he moved effortlessly with people from all walks of life.
His work for Disability Services sets an example for all to look after our less fortunate sisters and brothers.
I am sad to hear about Tom´s death. I hope in time his memory and spirit will bring comfort and peace to his family and his many friends.

So Tom, you decided to embark suddenly on your last journey, leaving us behind in grief.
A grief that can only be softened by the sweet memories that you helped create. No doubt Tom you will be missed! Missed especially by those who love you as you are leaving behind a gap difficult to be filled.
Our daughter always felt the love at the Cassidy´s home. Tom had a kind word for everyone, young and old, he was happy to share a nice story with friends, and he was always ready to celebrate life. His cheerful energy, his "joie de vivre" made him the one and only Tom.
Requiescat in Pace (R. I. P.)
We will always love you!

Tom rescued me after the ladder I was painting from slipped out and I fell to the floor while we were setting up for Dancing in the woods. Tom certainly knew how to lighten up a moment that slightly bruised my shins and my ego ! He was situated right around the corner and just out of sight and quickly commented " I´ve heard that sound before, are you OK ?" We laughed and continued on.RIP Tom My condolences to Nancy and the entire family.

Oh no. Nancy, Tom, LIZZY, Jill, Mike, Maureen. Like everyone, I am so shocked and saddened by Tom´s sudden and untimely passing. I knew him mainly thru his sister Jill. What a hero he has been to her during her health situation. He stepped right up and supported her selflessly. He will be unbelievably missed by his family and all the people he has touched throughout his life. My sincerest sympathies to all his family.
