Thomas Delgado Cazares

Thomas Delgado Cazares died Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 8:53pm in Sherman Oaks California. Thomas was a father, brother, son and friend to all who knew him.

Born December 28, 1949 in Tamaulipas Mexico to Rafael Cazares & Guadalupe Delgado. He lived for only a few years in Mexico before his family came over to California in a little raft. He grew up in small farming towns like Lamont, Weedpatch & Di Giorgio. He stayed local his whole life and called Lamont home for over 70 years. Graduated from Arvin high school and worked as a salesman for many years which he loved because he was a social butterfly and cherished making conversations with everyone. Being silly was his favorite way to be.

He was a hard worker who dedicated his life to his work installing flooring and carpets. He loved his job he felt it kept him young . He'd often say in life you need to have a purpose to keep you going and his purpose was to make people smile it didn't cost anything and it could make someone's day just a little bit brighter. He was always there to help anyone and lived very humbly often giving his last dollar to his friends in need. He also loved to exercise and was often seen walking the streets of Lamont and if u were close to him you also knew he was always munching on some veggies that he always carried with him.

He is survived by his two children Michele & Tommy. & Tommy's love Elizabeth Reyna and two grandchildren Allison & Elijah, his brother Abel & sister Josefina and a few nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a whole community that became his second family. He will always be remembered as a loving man who made everyone feel special. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
