Thomas Allen Cheese was a man who lived every day to the fullest, beginning his lifelong dedication to physical fitness at California State University Long Beach where he obtained his Masters degree in Exercise Physiology. It was in Long Beach that he was introduced via a blind date to his future wife, Pamela Deann James, later Pamela Deann Cheese, who he would later spend the next 30 years married to in a beautiful partnership.
Though Thomas was a private man, he had great pride in his achievements. In particular, he was a proud participant of the AC100, also known as the Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Race. Running the full length from Wrightwood to Pasadena, Thomas was able to complete this incredible feat in less than 23 hours. Outside of his impressive physical achievements, Thomas fondly recounted the memory of working as an usher at a massive amphitheater in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he was so lucky as to be in the presence of the "The King", otherwise known as Elvis Presley. Thomas was incredibly proud to have encountered Elvis himself, in such a way that calls to mind the importance of savoring every moment. He knew how to enjoy life, how to elevate it beyond the ordinary into something to be treasured, Thomas will be deeply missed.
