In Loving Memory of Our Father
Thomas M Connor
Born 8/13/1930 - 7/9/2025
Our beloved father passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, at the age of 94. A man who truly enjoyed life, he found joy in the simple pleasures-his paintings, his cherished home, and the companionship he found at the Jackson senior center. He loved spending time with others, sharing stories, laughter, and moments that brought him great happiness.
Before retiring, our father earned his associate degree in business from Ocean County College and worked as an auditor. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, a part of his life he carried with quiet pride and dignity.
In his later years, his love for art and family became the heart of who he was. His paintings were a reflection of his creative spirit, and his deep love for those closest to him was constant and unwavering. He will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him, but we take comfort in knowing he lived a full, rich life-filled with purpose, love, and joy.
He is survived by his three children Kathleen Weaver, Elizabeth Harris, and Diane Gemignani and their spouses Kevin Weaver and Robert Gemignani. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and their spouses, Theresa and William, Michele, Elizabeth Rose, Jennifer, Christine, Robert Paul and Melissa, and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Theresa, parents Thomas and Gladys, his sister Patricia, and his brother Robert.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 10 AM-12 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Thomas' memory to the Jackson Senior Center, 45 Don Connor Blvd., and would be greatly appreciated.
