Thomas Conti Obituary

Thomas Conti
Thomas Michael Conti, a devoted husband, father, and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Astoria, NY, Thomas was the beloved son of the late Ugo and Anna Conti. For the last 39 years, he called Norwalk, CT home, where he built a life rooted in love, hard work, and community.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Deborah Conti; his children, Jonathan Conti and his wife, Kathleen; and Michael Conti; his sister Nina Facini and her husband, Chris; his brother Sergio Conti; his brother John Conti and wife, Fran; his sister-in-law Donna; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Joe Conti and Frank Conti. He will be remembered as a loving and supportive husband and father who cherished his family above all else.
A lifelong car enthusiast, Thomas poured his passion into his business, Fort Point Phoenix Auto, of 35 years. He was not only an owner but also a trusted friend to colleagues and customers. Beyond work, he found joy by the water in Long Beach Island, NJ, a place that held a special spot in his heart.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family will live on in the memories of those fortunate enough to have known him.
Contributions can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m.-8 p.m., Friday, September 26th, at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, Connecticut 06851. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. the following day at St. Philip Church in Norwalk.

Dear Tommy,

Rest in peace my friend. You were honest, truthful and had dignity. I always enjoyed our talks ad you made me laugh so much. You were a great mechanic and my vehicles were always fixed to a tee. many times I would come t the shop early in the morning with a problem and you would stop what you were doing and help me. When I asked how much? you would always reply "see me next time".

I will miss you dearly - God bless my friend

Tommy was a wonderful human being. A true one of a kind. He would keep our old "beater" cars running when it was all we could afford. We've since moved from Norwalk, but always have fond memories of Tommy and Phoenix Auto. He was a fair honest and reliable individual and we will miss him. God Bless.

My condolences to Tom´s whole family. I´ve been a customer of his for years -way back to when he worked for Brian. Couldn´t ask for a nicer guy or a better mechanic. May he rest in peace.

Ed, Eric and I have taken our cars to Tommy for years. We will miss Tommy, he was a great guy, friendly, good humor, honest, great mechanic. I remember first time I heard of Tommy was when he did his radio segment, providing information on how to fix our cars, or telling people to stop by his garage and he'd look at their car. Great person, he will be missed. Our condolences to his family and friends.
