Thomas Michael Cook

Presque Isle – Thomas Michael Cook, 76, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the A.R. Gould Hospital in Presque Isle surrounded by his loving family and special friend Bonnie Robbins. He was born January 03, 1948, in Presque Isle, the son of Donald and Blanche (Laveway) Cook.
Tom saw the value in most everyone and everything. He liked to get a good deal, and he wanted to make sure everyone else did too. Tom loved spending time in his garage fixing things and riding around talking to people and looking for things to buy and fix only to sell them to buy more things to fix. He enjoyed Sunday Family Dinners and spending time with his family and friends. He fondly referred to his afternoon visit with friends as "Happy Hour" it didn't necessarily mean the bar it meant time with people he cared about. He and his wife enjoyed Friday night date night playing Scat with lodge friends. Tom was a 43 year member of Presque Isle Elks Lodge
He was predeceased by parents, daughter Sara and brother Pete.
Thomas is survived by wife, Gayna, daughters, Julia and partner Dave Chasse, Melissa Smith, and Steffanie and husband Eric Novak, son, Asa and wife Sarah, granddaughters, Ashley, Alyssa, Pepper, Summer, and Shelby, grandsons, Colby, Silas, Josiah, great-grandsons, George, Kasen, Aiden, Dionne, and Hunter, brother, John and wife Julie, and sisters, Christine and husband Tom, and Catherine.
A celebration of life for Thomas will be held 1PM - 3PM, Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Presque Isle Elks Lodge #1954 located at 508 Main St, Presque Isle, ME 04769. Following services Thomas will be laid to rest at the Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St. Presque Isle, ME 04769.
