Thomas F. Corbin of Cody, Wyoming peacefully took the hand of Jesus the morning of Saturday, March 29th with his wife by his side. He was born December 12, 1961 at Andrews AF Base in Bethesda, MD to Thomas F. Corbin Jr. and Maureen T. Corbin (Carney).
He graduated from Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs and with a Business Administration degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
When we think about the man Thomas was, his family and friends return to several consistent themes; his love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his wife and family, friends, Hawaii, and ice cream.
Steadfast is the appropriate word to describe Thomas. If you were a priority, there was no doubt. He worked very hard throughout his struggle with Multiple Systems Atrophy to maintain his strength, presence of mind, and ability to speak to the end, against all odds. For the last three weeks of his life, no one left his side without receiving a blessing.
Thomas loved his dogs, music, and learning about God's Creation, particularly space and volcanoes. He was blessed to work at Ball Aerospace on the development of the Mars Rovers and upkeep of the Hubble Telescope. He was the best tour guide around, having learned facts and trivia to impart along any journey. The same was true about relationships; he was there for the whole ride, always looking to drop some knowledge or pearls of wisdom and blessing.
Thomas is survived by his wife Fawn, his daughter, Erin (and Ben) Frank, his son John (and Melissa) Corbin, and six adored grandchildren who christened him, Papa Pancake, Father Papa, and Darth Papa; all monikers he adopted with glee. He shared his love of good stories, Nerd fandom, and Jesus readily with his grandchildren at every moment, and after he retired, gave them all rides in his Cherry Red Mustang Convertible, which brings to mind his nickname from his nieces and nephews, "Uncle Cool." He is also survived by his mother Maureen, his brothers, Kevin and Bryan, and his sister Mary, as well as 10 adored nieces and nephews.
After raising his children, Thomas devoted himself to Christian Ministry and studied and became an Anglican priest. Along this journey he adopted more children into the family through baptism as his godchildren. These youngsters and their families deeply brightened and blessed his life. He and Fawn are godparents to 8, and close community to many others–Thomas loved to be in a diverse community of believers, serving and loving for the glory of God.
Thomas moved from Colorado to Cody after retirement due to his diagnosis to live nearby his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, where he was warmly embraced by the Cody community. Although his time in Cody was short, he developed deep relationships with members of the CMA church, his neighbors, and a whole community of caregivers, including friends that he trained with to keep his health strong. Fawn wants to thank all of these people for enriching the end of Tom's life and supporting our family in beautiful and unexpected ways.
Memorial services will be at Cody Missionary Alliance Church, 147 Cooper Lane East, on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 2:30pm. Another memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Loveland, CO on April 25, 2025 at 11am.

Tom was my boss at Ball, and a really great person to work with. He was wise, expected a lot from those who worked for him, but gentle, and with a great sense of humor. My love and condolences to Fawn, his children, grandchildren, and all who loved him. He will be missed by many. Be assured he is walking with the Lord.
