Thomas Covert

Thomas H. Covert, 72, of East Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 7, 2026, at Allegheny Health Network in Wexford.
Born on August 31, 1953, in East Liverpool, Tom was the cherished son of the late Isaac H. Covert and Inez Swan Covert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Roberta Campbell, and his brothers, Isaac Covert and John Covert.
Tom was a graduate of South Side High School and proudly retired from the Local #495 Electricians Union. He truly loved life and was known for his infectious belly laugh that could be heard across the room. An avid outdoorsman, Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a passion for sailboats and motorcycles. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Shippingport and the Columbiana County Fish and Game Association.
Tom will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Kimberly Sue (Fox) Covert, whom he married on October 15, 2016. He is also survived by his children, Chrystle Weimer, Isaac Covert (Nicole), Renee Covert, John Covert, and Wayne Tate (Jennifer); his stepchildren, Travis Yohe and Courtnie Stowe; his sisters, Jean Davidson and Virginia Cunningham (Daniel); his brother, Bob Covert (Ronnie); twenty-two grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Food and fellowship will be held at Hookstown American Legion Post #952.
