by his loving family. Born on May 15, 1951 in Philadelphia to the late Bernard and Margaret
Coyle, Tom was a proud graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School, Class of 1970, and went
on to earn his bachelor's degree from Temple University.
Tom and his family set roots in Marlton and have called it home for the past 34 years. He put his
family above everything and enjoyed every minute they spent together on the sport fields or on
the beach in Sea Isle City. A hard-working, dedicated businessman, Tom enjoyed all things
football, Irish, and Elvis.
Tom was the beloved husband of 42 years to Margie (née Schwartz). He was a devoted father to
Shea (Matt) Maugeri and Casey (Kayce) Coyle, and cherished grandfather to Callie,
Coleman, and Nolan. Tom is predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Jack and Bernard
Coyle. He is lovingly survived by his siblings Maureen Mondel, Bunny DiPasquale, Connie
Coyle, Peggy Perry, Pat Coyle, and Dolores Ferguson, as well as his brother and sister-in-law,
Hank and Denise McElwee, and many nieces, nephews, and close friends who will miss him
dearly.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m.
to 11:30 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ, followed by a
Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. Private burial to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stephen's Rise and Grind, https://
stephensriseandgrind.org/, which provides financial assistance for individuals suffering from
mental illness to access the best available mental health services.

Thomas Patrick Coyle: A First Cousin´s Remembrance:
We are a family, that are friends, and bound by the vibrant threads of memory and the enduring legacy of Thomas Patrick Coyle,
Our story is woven from the proudest Irish wool, steeped in the tales of North Strand Road, Dublin, Ireland, of his Father, and the quiet beauty of 1 Trenchmore St. In County Kilkenny, and Poulacapple East, County Tipperary, of his Mother.
It was spun on the front porches of 65th Avenue in Philadelphia, and colored with the Irish Music the Food, and Traditions and the resilience and laughter that defined our family and our culture. Remember Tommy not in silence, but with a loud heart full of joy and laughter with singing and dancing to the Irish music, and full of Tommy´s memories.
Dianne and Eileen would recount the stories of days gone by living next door, where the lines between houses blurred into one. A home where the scent of a simmering Irish stew from the Coyle kitchen would mingle with the sounds of music coming from the teenagers windows. A single a 45, or a record a 72, on the record player, or listening to a transistor radio!
For our parents and their generation, weekends were defined by the music of the old country. It was the rhythm of fiddles and bodhráns, the melancholic sweetness of a ballad, the joy of a reel that would fill a room with clapping and stomping feet. Cooking a large Irish family meal on Sunday.
For the generation who grew up with him-
Eileen (who left us in November 2017) and Dianne remember when they and Tommy and Patty were little, they in the fall, would rake all the leaves into a giant pile, but what they felt at the time, was a pile that was a mile high! The goal was to jump in and disappear, then they would rake the leaves up again, in a mile high pile, to jump again, just to do it all over again!
Tommy and Patty Eileen and Dianne would make go-Karts out of milk crates and then put them on skates, to race against the neighborhood kids. They would play hide and seek, and Stick ball, back when you didn´t have to come in, until the street lights came on! That was back in the good old days!
The Coyle´s double first cousins, the Coyle s ( the real ones) they share the same last name and both sets of Grandparents.
Aunt Kitty and Uncle Sean´s children, Kathleen, Marypat, Theresa, Johnny, Peggy, and Jeannie, the memories of growing up, across from Connie Mack Stadium, and chasing and catching fly balls.
Putting lawn furniture in the street, to save parking spots when all of us got together!
Uncle Bill and Aunt Ellen, our first cousins, Bill, Jack, and Ellen, have so many fond memories of love and family and remain close to the Coyles´ family today.
Aunt Mary and Uncle Clayton, their children, Virginia, Steven, Joseph, Clayton, James, and Peter, all loved Tommy.
Tommy was a steady presence in the Coyle clan. The Coyle boys-Jack, Connie, Bernard, Tommy, and Patty-had a quiet grace, while the Coyle sisters-Maureen, Bunny, Peggy, and Dolores-were so beautiful. And in the midst of all that, Tommy, with his steady, gentle nature, and a great smile to match, he holds a very special place in all of our hearts.
We ( all the cousins) shared the love of music, along with his love of football with his brothers, sisters and family! Football today, still brings all the cousins together. The Lawrences and Coyles still watch the game together! Nothing better than a great football game! or Baseball!
Eileen and Dianne always admired Tommy, he was smart, kind, with a great sense of humor, he was never too proud to laugh at himself. He was the calm in the center of our beautiful Irish storm, with the rare gift of finding humor and grace in life's most ridiculous moments.
On October 9, 2025, our cousin Tommy left us. It is the kind of ache that only a big, Irish family can feel and understand. But Tommy is not truly gone. The love of his life Margie, his children Shea and Matt, Casey and Kayce, Callie, and Noland, Tommy lives on forever in your hearts, memories and love and our Irish heritage and traditions-the Irish tunes that grounded us and the Elvis music that thrilled us!! and all the Football Games, that today, still brings us all together!
Tommy´s Parents, Aunt Peggy and Uncle Bernard, and his Brothers, Sisters in Law, Brothers in Law, his Aunts and Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews that have past before him, are wrapping their arms around Tommy, they are welcoming Tommy home!
Tommy is surrounded by God´s love and the love of all his family and friends!
Both Lawrence families, William, Uncle Bill and Aunt Ellen´s children Jack, Bill, Ellen, and Aunt Marie and Uncle Joe Lawrence´s children, Eileen, Dianne, Joseph, Mary, and Peggy, love Tommy very much and he is in our thoughts, hearts and prayers!
Tommy is in the stories we tell,
Eileen is likely telling them now that are full of laughter and warmth, and love.
The Coyle boys and sisters are the epitome of grace kindness and beauty, inside and out! May Tommy´s journey home be peaceful, and may his memory be a blessing. Sláinte to you,Thomas Patrick Coyle.
