Thomas Crane Obituary
Born on December 21, 1953, in Durham, North Carolina, Tom graduated from Durham High School in 1972, and attended North Carolina State University. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, George L. Crane M.D. and Lyle Crane (Long).
Tom is survived by his wife, Diana Crane (Keller); three sons - Chad, Alex, and Tyler Crane; four grandchildren - Juliana, William, Jacob, and Stella Crane; and three older siblings - Marian Sharpe, George L. Crane Jr, and fraternal twin, Susan Crane.
Family will be accepting visitors privately. A celebration of Tom's life will be announced at a later date.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to The American Lung Association in his name.

Ahhhh... this is a hard 1 to take. Tom worked at Manayunk Tavern and I worked at Olde Towne Tavern. All of us at Olde Towne knew all of those at Manayunk which was 1 of my favorite restaurants. Tom and Susan were 2 of my very favorites. Tom was a real sweetheart.... always smiling always kind. We lost contact when we all settled down and married and had babies to care for. But, some of my favorite memories include Tom and Susan. This 1 hurts. I totally believe the angels carried him over into a beautiful place where he is surrounded by love and that 1 day we will all reunite. Sending love and peace to all who loved him.

The Crane family has my condolences. Tom never had a bad word and always smiled. He was a part of the Wonder Bread/Hostess bunch of great people. Sorry for his loss. Prayers

I am so sad to hear of Tommy's passing. I know that his last days on earth were not that easy, but we can take comfort in knowing that he is now in a wonderful place free of pain and suffering.
