Thomas Ray Custer, 82, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away on February 17, 2026, in his hometown. He was born on November 9, 1943, in Coeur d’Alene to his mother, Pauline Lou Custer. Thomas attended Coeur d’Alene High School and went on to work as a barber, serving his community for many years. Thomas had a deep love for art and history. He spent much of his life surrounded by the things he loved and enjoyed creating beautiful paintings. He also loved to travel and explore new places. His passion for creativity, history, and adventure were an important part of who he was. He is survived by his nephews, Kenneth, Kent, and James Poole. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Poole; his mother, Pauline Lou Custer; and his father, George McCrimmon.Thomas will be missed by all who knew him.
