Thomas "Tommy" Daigle, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, at his home in Zachary. A native of Pierre Part and a longtime resident of Zachary, Tommy was a man of unwavering faith, remarkable patience, and a calm, steady presence that anchored everyone around him-especially his beloved family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Zachary from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM. The Rosary will be prayed at 11:30 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Azalea Rest Cemetery.

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Sherald Gaudet Daigle; his daughter, Stephanie McHugh (Thomas McHugh III "Tem"); his son, Samuel "Sammy" Daigle (Melissa Gaines Daigle); his sisters, Ilar Mabile and Ilene Bernuchaux; his grandchildren, Whitney Daigle, Alexis Daigle, Burke Daigle II, Haley Odom, Thomas McHugh IV, Kenlee McHugh, Charlie Daigle, and Storm Lantrip Jr.; and his great-grandchildren, Emma Mounce, Rheid Havard, Mary Ellis Odom, Miller Odom, and Mac McHugh.

He was preceded in death by his son, Burke Daigle; his parents, Cyril Daigle Jr. and Elma Daigle; his sister, Terry Blanchard; his nephew, Ryan Blanchard; and his brothers-in-law, R.J. Gaudet, Ivan Bernuchaux, and Herman Mabile.

Pallbearers will be Sam Daigle, Tem McHugh, Burke Daigle II, Charlie Daigle, Thomas McHugh, Aaron Odom, and Rheid Havard. Honorary pallbearers are Chad Oliphant, Evan Thibodeaux and Storm Lantrip Jr.

Tommy was endlessly loving and supportive of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will remain forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
