Jacquelyne Daigle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hope Memorial Chapel - Biddeford on Jan. 20, 2026.
Jacquelyne (Doyon) Daigle 77, of Biddeford, Maine passed away peacefully on the morning of January 10 surrounded by family. "Jackie" was born on December 22,1948 to Oram and Florence (Lachance) Doyon in St. Zacharie, Quebec, Canada. She married Paulin N. LeBreux and together they emigrated to Biddeford, Maine in 1968 to work in the bustling textile mills. They settled in Biddeford and raised their 3 boys. She worked for various mills as well as St. Andre's Healthcare and for Seal Rock Nursing Home.
Jackie lived for her family including three sons and many friends. She would brighten up any room with her distinct laugh and bright smile. Attending every event for her grandchildren was something she valued regardless if she had to travel five minutes or five hours. She cherished every life event for anyone close to her and was selfless in every way. Trips to Canada to visit family, and annual moosehunts with her sons are just a couple of ways she connected and remained close with her loved ones.
Jackie was an amazing cook; her pork pies were a welcomed dish for years at all holiday events. She enjoyed taking care of everyone around her and was full of positivity, joy, and a warmness that was noticed by all. She loved summer weather, fresh flowers and gardening. When able, she was a snowbird and would travel to Florida in the winter to visit friends and escape the cold Maine winter. She had fond memories of traveling to numerous countries with Paulin.
Jackie was proud to have become an American citizen in 2000. She instilled the value of education in her sons and the value of hard work. Jackie will be missed by everyone that was lucky enough to be a part of her life. Jackie enjoyed being with others; and others enjoyed being with her.
She was predeceased by her husbands Paulin LeBreux, Robert Daigle, her long time companion Francis Fontaine, her brother Paul-Henri Doyon and sister Roland Lavallee.
She is survived by her 3 sons: Alan and wife Karen Ruel, Roger and wife Shelley, Karl and wife Nicole, 6 grandchildren: Marina, Katelyn, Mason, Kirsten, Pacey, Leo and several brothers and sisters all from Quebec.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005, followed by a Funeral Outside of Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
