Tom Davis, a beloved member of the Skiatook community, passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on November 19, 1965, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tom was raised in Skiatook, where he dedicated his early years to education at Skiatook High School, graduating in 1984. He continued his academic journey at Tulsa Junior College, laying a solid foundation for his future career.
Throughout his professional life, Tom demonstrated dedication and versatility in various roles. He began his career as a dispatcher and jailer for the Skiatook Police Department, serving his community with pride and integrity. Later, he transitioned to customer service roles, first with Direct TV and most recently with AT&T, where he continued to assist and support customers with his characteristic patience and kindness.
Tom's personal life was marked by love and family. He married Stephanie Ann Roberts on May 18, 1997, in Skiatook, Oklahoma, a partnership that would enrich both their lives and the lives of those around them. Together, they raised a family that included his children, Matthew Biggs and his wife Jenn, Jacob Biggs, Thomas J. Davis, and Samantha Pudder and her husband Marvin Ray. Tom also cherished the joy of being a grandfather to his granddaughters, Michelle and Sophie, who brought light and laughter into his life. He is survived by his loving wife, children, and a host of relatives and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
Outside of work and family, Tom had a variety of interests that reflected his vibrant personality. He was an avid gamer, enjoying countless hours playing World of Warcraft and proudly known as the best dungeon master in Dungeons and Dragons. His playful spirit often shone through in his love for teasing those he cared about. Furthermore, he had a passion for reading and even trained K-9s, illustrating his diverse range of hobbies and interests.
Tom is remembered as a devoted husband, a supportive father, a doting grandfather, and a loyal friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering commitment to his family and community. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson Davis and Bonnie Hickman Hutcherson, as well as his sister, DeAnna Davis. His impact on those who knew him will be felt for years to come, and he will be greatly missed.
