Donna J. Reed

Donna J. Reed, born on August 23, 1932, in Skiatook, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma. Donna’s early life was shaped by her roots in Skiatook, where she received her education, culminating in her graduation from Skiatook High School.

A dedicated professional, she spent many years as an accountant for the Tulsa Expo, where her expertise and commitment were highly respected. Throughout her life, she displayed a remarkable dedication not only to her career but also to her family and community.

Devoted to her loved ones, Donna is remembered for her passion for cooking, her love of puzzles, and her voracious reading habits—she proudly completed every book in the Skiatook library. With a deep affection for her family, her legacy lives on through them. She is survived by her grandchildren: Matthew Handle, Calvin Handle, and Lee Holmes; as well as her great-grandchildren: Kiahs Handle and Ashton Holmes.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Claud Blackwell and Bessie Ann K. (Jenkins) Blackwell, her husband, Lonzo Reed, and her daughter, Phyliss Ann Cody. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
