surrounded by all of his girls. Tommy was born in Durham County to the late Thomas Watkins Dennis and Adna
Faye Hicks Dennis.
Tommy served over 33 years in the military including the US Army and the NC National Guard.
Mr. Dennis is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Ellen Dennis; daughters, Michele Dennis Graham
(Steve), Kimberly Dawn Dennis (Valerie Gilreath), Heather Renee Dennis; grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Prine
(John), Brandon Graham (Hannah Palmer); great grandchildren, Jeremiah Prine, Jaxton Prine; brother, Rickey
Dennis (Andrea), and his sister Brenda Cole.
Per his request there are no services planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Fisher House at fisherhouse.org.
The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. in Durham. Online condolences
