Thomas (Tom) G. Diaz, at age 86, passed from this life to his eternal Home on Wednesday May 8, 2024, to once again be reunited with his beloved wife, Martha. He passed with those he loved and those who loved him by his side.
Born on September 22, 1937, in Slaton Texas, to Martin Diaz and Carolina Guiterrez Diaz, who proceeded him in death. He was the oldest of five siblings; Lolo, Bart, Ralph, and Marshall, who proceeded him in death. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He spent working for 45 years from Falstaff Beer to Dr. Pepper to eventually a 35-year career with Coca Cola, Austin Texas, as an Area Sales Manager for Central Texas.
Thomas was a loving husband, a wonderful Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and newly Great Great Grandfather and a good and loving Friend. His life was dedicated to his wife and raising their family. He was a firm believer in harnessing deep caring relationship with family and friends. Through his beloved wife, 25+ years ago he came to know Christ, and dedicated much of his life to their Church.
In October 2022, he was proceeded in death by his wife of 63 years, Martha Magallanez Diaz, and in September 2006 his son, Alexander Lopez Jr. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey, Michael, and Sandra, along with grandchildren, Michael, Vanessa, Christopher, Brittney, and Thomas Jordan (TJ), and great grandchildren, Sadie, Anthony, Jesse, Matthew, Mia, Lilly, Justin, Alex, Maddox, Bella, Christopher Jr., Atticus, Atlas, and Jai, and great great grandchild – Amada.
Tom is also survived by Greg Magallanez and Fred Magallanez, who he considered brothers, and their families who he loved dearly. Also "brothers" who proceeded him in death, Joe Magallanez, Pete Magallanez, Alex Magallanez, and Manual Magallanez, and their surviving families who he dearly loved.
You have sorrow now, but I will see you again and then you can rejoice; and no one can rob you of that joy.
