Thomas Jerome Dine, age 82, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 5, 2021. He was born June 18, 1938, in Grand Rapids, to the late Lorraine Van Dyke and Robert Dine. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member and past master of the Grand Rapids Masonic Lodge No. 34, F&AM of Michigan.

Tom spent many active years supporting and volunteering with the Masonic youth of Michigan as well as with his church, lodge, and people he came across in need. Our dad was our hero, who loved fishing and nature especially birds and squirrels. His spirit for life will forever remain with us. We are grateful to have had such a loving and caring father. He taught us the importance of family, of serving others, and loving God.

Survivors include his son, Tim (Meg) Dine; daughter, Vicki (Mark) Cochrane; grandchildren, Kenny Dine and Jessica (Mike) Hembroff; great-grandchildren, Carter and Lucas Hembroff; and brothers, Jim and Bob Dine.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.

A Memorial and Masonic service will be celebrated on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 11:00A.M. in the 3rd floor lodge room at Grand Rapids Lodge No. 34, located at 233 Fulton Street East, Suite 110, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503 with W.Bro Bart D. LeVan P.M. officiating.
