My condolences to the family. He was a gifted educator and made Chemistry fun and engaging. He touched many, many lives.

Truly great people influence many, T.D. was that person by definition. I had the privilege of his friendship throughout my teenage years into adulthood as did so many others. Many of us (you know who you are) have dozens of ridiculously fun stories about times we´ve shared. We will all miss you Ace while we smile as you live within our thoughts and hearts.

What a life well lived. Easily the most talented, engaging, funny and perceptive academic in Hilton High School. Looking back, I probably pursued an engineering education, license, and career because of him. Always asking/telling/repeating to us an important concept he wants us to leave class today understanding, to do well on the next exam. "Ya mean ya mean, the X makes the Y happen, and the result is Z? Ohhhhh....now I get it!...Now one more time, just to make sure... Chris/Amy/Matt/Patt/Brett/Greg/Reinmar?, (it was a different kid), would you please explain to the class the widget you are going home knowing backwards and forwards?" Parting thoughts, always a kind word and good life advice. Free of no extra charge. Loved his Blue Jet Chevy Monte Carlo and flying it to Sabres home games.

Rest in Peace Tom. I don´t think anyone who taught/worked with you in the high school, or had you as a teacher, will forget you. If you´re hanging out with Bruce K. say hello for me.

TD is the only reason that I majored in Science. Tom and I have been friends since that time. Tom was one of my best friends. We played with our trucks in the mud and enjoyed many times together. I will miss him deeply.! My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace my friend.

I was a student of TD's in 1992 (Regents and AP Chemistry). I had lots of great teachers in High School, but TD stood out. He had many sayings, but I fondly recall ' knowledge is power' and warned us not to fall into the 'abyss of mediocrity'.
A true legend of Hilton High School. Someone who put an indelible stamp on countless people in the Hilton/Parma/ Greece area.
I will miss you, TD.

"Knowledge is power" one of his famous quotes I use to this day with my own students. Thanks for peaking my interest in Chemistry, humor and striving to be a passionat teacher.
