Thomas “Tom” was born on June 17th, 1959 in El Paso,TX and went to his eternal home on April 21st, 2025 in Odessa,TX at the age of 65. He was reunited with his Dad, Mom, Sister ,Nephews, and many other loved ones. What a glorious reunion he had.
Tom grew up in El Paso and has 3 brothers - Johnny, Jim, Bob and 2 sisters - Cathy and Colleen. Tom will be remembered for his faith, his love for his family, strong work ethic and his generous, friendly spirit. Tom was “Uncle Tom” to all his nieces and nephews, he loved them all. Tom’s favorite holiday was Christmas and he always bought for everyone and spent a lot of time and thought on each gift. He loved to wrap and label each gift. Tom always gave us his “Christmas list” and he loved spending Christmas with as many of us as he could.
Tom graduated from Socorro Hugh School in 1980. Tom started at NIPCO in Odessa June of 2000 and he had to retire from there in September 2023. He enjoyed his time there and his friendships made.He would still be working there if hadn’t gotten sick. The last few years he endured many hospital stays, procedures and tests. Through out medical journey he was always gracious and grateful to the medical people. Colleen was his main caregiver the last few years and they had good times and bad times but had lots of love for each. Tom will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Tom is survived by 3 brothers and their spouses -John (Marie ) ,Jim (Jean) , Bob (Shirley) and 1 sister Colleen and many nieces and nephews.
Tom is preceded in death by his father - John Drugan, mother - Joan Drugan, sister -Cathy Chavez, nephew - Joe Edward Chavez and nephew -Joshua Drugan.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX. A Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Our Lady of The Valley Church, 8600 Winchester Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside will follow at 11:15 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907.
