Thomas Ambrose Drumwright

Mr. Thomas Ambrose Drumwright, age seventy-four, departed this life and entered into eternal rest Monday, October 20, 2025 at his residence in Timberlake, North Carolina. He was born in Person County September 30, 1951 to the late Johnson and Eva Ray Drumwright, a member of Greater Covenant Church of Jesus Christ and a Veteran of the United States Army (Retired).

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Daffodil Lawson, James Theodore Drumwright, Katherine Handy and Cleo Link.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife, Arlene Johnson Drumwright of the home; children: Thomas Antoine Drumwright (Margaret) of Rougemont, North Carolina and Tasha Bradsher (Ira "Kirk") also of the home; grandchildren: Michaux Drumwright (Stasia), also of Rougemont, Michael Austin Drumwright (Cristina, fiancee`) of Durham, North Carolina, Trey Drumwright (Stormi) of Rougemont, Dr. Ivonne Kennedy Bradsher (Chris, friend) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Tristan Jakob Bradsher of Wilmington, North Carolina; great-grandchildren: Gunner, Millie and Saylor Drumwright, all of Rougemont; siblings: Johnson Drumwright of Roxboro, North Carolina, McDonald Drumwright (Laverne), Clyde Drumwright (Phyllis) and Kelvin Drumwright (Denise), all of Roxboro, Shirley Satterwhite (Reginald) of Queens, New York, Velma Drumwright of Roxboro, Colleen Burgess (Joshua) of Clayton, North Carolina and Todd Drumwright of Roxboro; special in-laws: William Isaac Johnson (Lois) of Thomasville, North Carolina, Veronica Satterwhite of Timberlake, North Carolina, Dr. Richard Hayes Johnson and Clarice Johnson, both of Roxboro and Dr. Mengie Parker of Dayton, Ohio; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held Monday, October 27, 2025 at 12:00pm at Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services with Bishop Deborah Barnette Street, Pastor at Greater Covenant Church of Jesus Christ, providing the eulogy. Burial with military honors will follow at the Greater Covenant Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery, Roxboro, North Carolina 27574.

Visitation will also be Monday at Cunningham & Associates from 11:00am to 12:00pm when his body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service.

At other times, the family will receive visitors at his home, 1021 Dick Holeman Road in Timberlake 27583.
