George Thaddeus Fuller

Mr. George Thaddeus Fuller, age seventy-four, departed his earthly life and entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Rose Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center in Durham, North Carolina. He was born in Person County September 21, 1951 to the late Jonnie James Torian and Peggy Fuller and was a Veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Janice Fuller; sisters: Sandra Dianne Wesley and Annette Torian White; and a brother, Duke Ellington Torian.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, children: Tenica Pettiford and Kory Pettiford (Elizabeth), both of Durham, North Carolina and James Gentry, Jr. (India) of Roxboro, North Carolina; grandchildren: Amier Toomer, Arrion Harrington, Kamryn Pettiford, Kourtney Pettiford, Kingston Pettiford, Luke, Jahmeel Gentry, Jaylen Gentry (Chesley) and Imani Gentry Newsome (Justus); siblings: Beverly Paylor of Roxboro, Reverend Dr. Luke Torian (Clarice) of Dumfries, Virginia, Tina Chavis (Reco) of Durham, Daniel Torian (Fran) of Weddington, North Carolina, Reverend John Torian of Kernersville, North Carolina, Joe Torian, also of Dumfries and Victoria Silver (Ricky) of Durham; goddaughter Renee McDougald (Chris); and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Greater Cleggs Chapel Community Missionary Baptist Church, 2601 Surl-Mt. Tirzah Road, Timberlake, North Carolina with the Reverend Dr. Luke Torian, his brother, providing the eulogy, and the Reverend Priscilla Thompson, Associate Minister at Union Grove Baptist Church, officiating. Military honors will be rendered at the church.

Visitation will be Friday at Cunningham & Associates Funeral Service from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
