It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Joshua Egner, affectionately known as Josh aged 51, who left us on September 4, 2025. Born on March 3, 1974, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Josh was a beloved son, father and brother, and he touched the lives of many during his time with us.
Josh will be remembered for his passion for life and his adventurous spirit. He enjoyed camping, kayaking, and canoeing, always seeking the thrill of the great outdoors. His love of Bengals football and race car driving reflected his cheerful and competitive nature. A true adventurer at heart, he spent a year living in Hawaii and cherished his travels to Paris, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
He leaves behind his devoted father, Thomas A. Egner, his loving mother Gloria S. Egner, his cherished son Cade Powell, his sister Taryn Egner, his nephew Nicholas Buckley and niece Corynn Carter and many aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Josh's family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating his life. A reception will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at the RSVP Event Center, 453 Wards Corner Rd, Loveland, OH 45140. This will be an opportunity for all whose lives he touched to reminisce and share stories, honoring the joy he brought into the world.
Let us come together to remember a wonderful man who loved deeply and lived fully. Josh will be missed but never forgotten.
Josh was preceded in death by grandparents: Chris (Betty) Stoinoff and Tom (Lana) Egner.
