Thomas L. Ehle

Thomas L. Ehle, 71, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Tom was born on August 27, 1954 to the late Harry M. and Agnes (Lynn) Ehle, Jr. in Syracuse, NY. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy, McGill University and Syracuse University School of Law. Tom worked for the Albany County Airport Authority and he retired from New York State Comptroller's Office under Carl McCall as Associate Counsel. He then dabbled in real estate in the greater Syracuse area and set up his own brokerage firm. Over the years Tom enjoyed his time at Montario Point, cooking, gardening, hunting, golf, and traveling. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Aileen E. Jackson and nephew, James G. Patell.
Tom is survived by sisters, Sheila E. Owen, Colleen E. (James) Patell, Holly T. (John Hayes) Ehle and Heather E. (Mike) Hennigan; brothers, H. Pat (Lynne) Ehle and Joseph S. (Wendy) Ehle, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, January 19, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second St., Liverpool, NY with a funeral service to follow at 5:00 pm. Burial will be private.
