Thomas "Tom" L. Faucher Sr., age 73, of New London, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center Appleton, following complications from abdominal surgery. He was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin, on March 7, 1952, to Clifford and Nancy Faucher. On Dec. 7, 1979, he married Catherine "Kay" Considine, and together they shared more than 45 years of marriage.

Tom worked many years as an independent flooring installer. With Kay, he owned and operated T & K Custom Carpets and Draperies, which later grew into custom carpentry and construction. A perfectionist in his work and hobbies, he especially loved building with wood.

He was an avid outdoorsman, a successful bass angler, and a sharp pool shooter. Tom enjoyed mentoring others and sharing his skills. Tom served as an Emergency Medical Technician and was a longtime member of the New London Fire Department. He was also a charter member of the Mid-Wisconsin Fishing Club, where he especially looked forward to the annual Handicapped Kids Fishing Day.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine "Kay" Faucher; three sons, Thomas L. Faucher Jr. (Adela) of Slinger, John (Ann) Faucher of New London, and Michael Faucher of San Francisco; and three grandchildren, Haile and Zackary Faucher of Slinger, and Lily Faucher of New London. He is further survived by siblings Laura Gorges of New London, Karen (Alan) Steinberg of New London, Colleen Faucher of Hurley, Larry (Mary) Faucher of New London, Clifford Faucher Jr. of Arkansas, and David (Lynn) Faucher of New London, along with many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Nancy Faucher; and siblings Theresa Sockett, Marjorie Coonen, and William Faucher.

In accordance with Tom's wishes, there will not be a funeral; instead, a mass will be held in his remembrance on his birthday, March 7 th, at 4:30 PM at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville, WI. Memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
