Thomas "Tom" Faulkner, 78, of Troy, IL passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 18, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to Frank D. Faulkner and Rosa L (nee: Handley) Monday. The U.S. Army veteran liked to watch WWE on television. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Tom was known for his loving and caring soul. He was very giving and was willing to help anyone in need. Tom is survived by a daughter, Wendy Ashcraft of Granite City; 2 step-sons: Brian Asbeck of FL and Brett Asbeck of Hillsboro, MO; 5 grandchildren: Nicholas Ringering, Shayna Ringering, Cody Ashcraft, Kevin Slaton and Ethan Asbeck and several great grandchildren. Also surviving are 5 brothers: Ronnie Faulkner of FL, Doug Clemons of Glen Carbon, IL, Clifford Faulkner of Richland, MO, Jeffrey Faulkner of Mitchell, IL and Keith Faulkner of Granite City, IL and 3 sisters: Annette Bench of Edwardsville, IL, Jwan Halley of Cottage Hills, IL and Barbara Faulkner of Mitchell, IL. Inurnment with military honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
