THOMAS "LYNN" FERGUSON, age 69 years, a resident of the Old Leading Creek Road, Montrose, WV departed this life early Thursday morning, December 20, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his family. He had been in declining health and death was attributed to cancer. He was born Sunday, December 19, 1943 at Crystal Springs, WV a son of the late Thomas Jasper and Margaret Virginia Holbert Ferguson. On June 20, 1964 at the Coffman Chapel Church he was married to the former Linda Kay Fortney, who survives. They had celebrated forty-eight years of marriage. Also surviving are two brothers, Terry Ferguson and wife Pinkie; Jack Ferguson and wife Betty, all of Montrose; four sisters, Mary Ferguson Schoonover, Elkins; Carol Sue Coffman and husband Chuck; Paula Ferguson, all of Montrose; Starlet Levy and husband Neil, Hickville, OH; his extended family, Larry (deceased) and his wife Betty, Belington; Lenora and husband Nick; Loren and wife Anita; Lynn; and Lewis and wife Debbie, his faithful companions, Skippy and Trooper; many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Elkins High School with the Class of 1964 and had worked as a Pattern Maker and Molder for Kelly Foundry for forty-five years, retiring in 2008. He loved fishing, hunting and his mountain cabin and was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast. He was a Methodist by faith. The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 to 8 PM Saturday. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home, Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2 PM. The Rev. Terry Cannon will officiate and interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman, WV. Click Here to View a Video Tribute
