Thomas J. Findley, of Seymour, passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 67. He was born on December 8, 1957, to the late Guy and Charmain (Butler) Findley.
Thomas spent many years dedicated to his work at Home Products International, where he not only contributed his skills and work ethic but also formed lifelong friendships and memories. His commitment to his work was paralleled only by his love for the open road. Thomas's passion for motorcycles and cars was more than a hobby; it was a central aspect of his life that brought him immense joy and a sense of freedom.
As an active member of Eagles Lodge #655, Moose Lodge #418, and ABATE - Region 7 Seymour, Thomas found camaraderie and community. He was a familiar face at meetings and events, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. His involvement in these organizations reflected his love for social connection and his desire to contribute to the well-being of his fellow members. He was also an organ donor.
He is survived by brothers, Lew (Sheila) Findley of Columbus, Pat (Diana) Findley of Taylorsville and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Martin Findley, and sister, Carole Findley.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour, on Thursday, Nov 20, from 2 – 4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Jeff Prewitt officiating.
Memorial contribution in Thomas' memory can be made to ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education) of Indiana Region 7 at 726 Washington Street, Hope, IN 47246.
