Thomas R. Fragale

Thomas R. Fragale, 99, of Penn Hills / Plum Boro, passed on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Beloved father to his three daughters Peggy (Jeffrey) Schaal, Darlene (Kevin) Klaus, and Sharon (Mike) DeLuca; "pap" to Diana, Ashley, Stephanie, Nicole, Antonetta, Brooke, Adrianne, Michael, and Olivia; great-grandfather to 19; godfather to Joe Szymanski; and uncle to many. Tom was preceded in his passing by his wife of over 70 years, Edith A. (Lodovico) Fragale; his son, Thomas R. Fragale; and his siblings. The priority of Tom's life was his service to his country. He was a United States Army veteran, having proudly served his country in World War II. He recalled his time on the beaches of Normandy with clarity all these years later. He took pride in his family and loved spending holidays and Sundays in their company. A devoted father and husband, he leaves a legacy of love with the family tree he and Edith have created. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES LTD/ROTH CHAPEL, 7450 Saltsburg Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235. The services will be Wednesday, March 11, 2026; time to be announced. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's name may be made to St. Jude’s.
