Thomas Larry Fuller, beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 81. Larry was born on December 19, 1943, at his family home, marking the beginning of a life filled with humor, stories, and service.
Larry graduated from Goldthwaite High School and later served his country in the US Army. A talented musician, he played baritone in the 97th Army band and carried the pride of his service with him throughout his life. Larry was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma from June 1, 1965, to May 31, 1967. During his time in the military he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and Sharpshooter Medal.
Known for his sarcastic charm, Larry had a unique ability to make those around him feel good, often while delivering a well-timed joke. He was a great storyteller, sharing tales that captivated his family and friends.
Larry had a passion for reading, which fueled his curious mind. He enjoyed antique cars and loved attending car shows, where he reveled in sharing his enthusiasm with others.
In his personal life, Larry was married to Shirley Mae Fuller, who survives him. Through marriage, he embraced the roles of stepfather and father-in-law to Jeremy and Jennifer Tyler and became a proud grandfather to Chloe and Zane Tyler.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother Sarah Headstream, father Thomas Fuller, and brother Alan Fuller. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
