Thomas Glines Obituary
He leaves behind Dee, his devoted wife of 53 years. Tom will always be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his children, Joanne Glines and her husband James Grosso Jr. of Monroe, Tommy Glines of Stratford, Gino Glines of Fairfield, Tim Oldroyd (whom he thought of as his son) and his Tim's wife Eleni of Bridgeport, his cherished granddaughter Jamie Grosso of Monroe, and two nephews, Morgan Glines and Aaron Halpine. Tom was predeceased by his parents Herbert Erwin and Anne Lancaster Carlisle Glines, and his Brothers Gene and Ken Glines.
After graduating high school, Tom spent 3 years at University of Bridgeport. He retired after 30 plus years at Sikorsky Aircraft as a Scrap Yard & Tool Crib manager. Thomas was known to be a jack of all trades. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, smoking his cigars and playing scratch off tickets now and again. Tom made many friends throughout life, all of whom will cherish his memory.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1 to 4PM in the Larson Funeral Home Preplanning & Cremation Services (NOW LOCATED at) 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center, with a prayer service officiated by Fr. Sean Kulacz at 2PM. His interment will be private.

I have worked shoulder to shoulder with his son for 11 years. His legacy and values are well represented by his son Gino. I know he misses his Dad. They were very close. Gino is a hard worker and a valued friend. I never met his dad but I´m sure he was the same!

I work with his son Gino. He is a wonderful person and a credit to his family. He was devoted to his father and I know he will miss him dearly. My sincere condolences to the family on their loss of such a caring father.
