Obituary of Thomas Charles Goodrich
Thomas Charles Goodrich, 53, of Ocala was called home quite suddenly on August 21, 2022.
Thomas was born in Portland, Maine, August 5, 1969, to Reginald and Donna (Southwick) Goodrich. They moved to Ocala from Cornish, NH, in 1978. He attended Ocala schools from fourth grade through, graduating from Vanguard High in 1987. He worked most of his life in the family construction company, R & D Concrete Contracting with his parents. He married Connie Ostrand.
He was proceeded in death by two sisters, Sara Anne and Mary Jean Goodrich and stepdaughter Omayra Ortiz. He is survived by daughters Kaitlyn Helen Goodrich Orlando, and Alicia Dennison, Deltona and son Nicholas (Trish) Del Santo Greenville PA., partner and caregiver Inez Vasquez, parents Reggie and Donna Ocala, sister Betty Jane (Jeremy) Goodrich-Watton and their children Jennifer and Seth Thibodeaux, Clermont and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Thomas was a member of Blessed Trinity Church. He acted as soccer coach for his son s team, along with his father-in-law, Harold Ostrand. He was happiest when helping numerous special needs children over the years receive the medical care they needed. He lovingly maintained a garden in the courtyard of his apartment building for the enjoyment of the tenants.
Arrangements are being handled by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home. Ocala. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00am-12:00pm Saturday 09/03/2022 with service to follow in their chapel at 12:00pm.
