Thomas Graves Ritter Obituary

Thomas Graves Ritter went home to be with his heavenly family on December 6th, 2023. Tom was born April 10, 1966, to Margaret and Edward Ritter in Pittsburgh, PA. He is survived by his father Ed Ritter, his sisters Amy and Linda Ritter, sister and husband Edie and Jim Sloan, brothers and wives Ed and Marlene Ritter and Jim and Amy Ritter and brother-in-law Mark Wells. He is also survived by countless nieces and nephews, many cousins, and close friends. He is preceded in death by his mothers Margaret and Lois Ritter, his sister Ann Wells and his nephew Matthew Sloan.

Thomas was most known for his love of family, friends, and animals. He was a jack of all trades and commonly referred to his plethora of jobs with both laughter and pride. He was a hard worker and never met a task he did not tackle with determination and spirit and a unique sense of self. Tom loved to write music and his creativity led him to both his “I Will Bring You Joy” project and his “Black Mold of Grief” YouTube series. Tom was founder and instructor of his private company, Everyday Heroes where he taught thousands the lifesaving gift of CPR over its 20-year existence. Tom will be missed most for his sensitive caring side and his zest for always improving his life and those around him. Tom was in constant pursuit of a life that was meaningful whether it was working as a Crisis Hotline volunteer in college, volunteering with the high school drum line in Georgia or taking home strays, loving them back to health. Never stop sharing stories of this wonderful man and let his memory inspire your life.
