Thomas J. Grebinski, age 90, a resident of Melvindale, Utica, and Romeo, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 in Macomb, Michigan. Thomas was born March 11, 1934 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, the son of Joseph and Marie (Larson) Grebinski. Thomas graduated from Melvindale High School, then worked as a Designer at General Motors for over 30 years before retirement. While working at GM, he was known as an innovator. After retiring, Thomas enjoyed fixing clocks, playing hockey, and loved to take care of the lawn. He loved his grandkids, and was always there for their important moments.
Thomas is survived by his children, Thomas Grebinski Jr. of Boise, Idaho, Cindy Bliemaster, of Rochester Hills, Tracy Boyd of Clinton Township, and Kevin Grebinski of Rochester, as well as grandchildren Jessica (Chris) Spano, of Rochester, and Shane (Lisa) Bliemaster of Detroit, and great-grandchildren, Charlie Spano, Lonnie Spano, Ace Spano, Smith Bliemaster, and Otto Bliemaster. Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Keith Grebinski.
