We will remember a life lived with immense love and a constant sense of caring. He was a devoted husband, father, great and great-grand father. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and a grandson. Survivors include his wife, Maretta (Marti); daughter, Sherry (David) Fuller; son, Thomas B. (Heather) Hammitte; step-daughter, Annamarie (Charles) Irwin, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held on November 15, 2025, at 1 PM at Westminster Village clubhouse, 500 Spanish Fort Blvd., Spanish Fort, AL. The family requests casual dress, Caribbean cruise attire would be appropriate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.
