Thomas Tracy Harmon, Sr.

Mr. Thomas Tracy Harmon, Sr. 83, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 2, 1941, in West Virginia to the late Amaziah Zacariah Harmon and Delilah Dorothy Tyree Harmon. Thomas was a loving husband for over 50 years. He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors, fishing, watching the Redskins play, bowling, horse racing. Thomas also enjoyed classic muscle cars, especially cars from the 1960’s. In addition, he enjoyed the time he lived in Maryland. Most of all, his grandbabies and great grandbabies were the joy of his life. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Zeta Willa Harmon; four brothers, and four sisters. Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas Harmon, Jr.; three daughters, Brenda Brown, Judy Harmon, and Laura Harmon; six grandchildren, Chris Harmon, Ashley Thomas (Johnny), Megan Harmon, Anna Burgess (Cole), Jordan Harmon, and Krista Harmon; four great-grandchildren, Addison Thomas, Zachary Thomas, Dalton Whitaker, and Kenzleigh Harmon; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Harmon; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Sunday April 27, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor David Renegar officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
