He was an amazing soul that walked this Earth for a very short time.
Preceded in death by brother Johnny Harvey; grandparents, Charles and Violet Saxton, and Rose and John Harvey Sr.; father in-law Gary Fowler; and aunt Vicki Nielsen. Survived by wife Laura Harvey; mother Linda Harvey; father, John (Nancy) Harvey; children, Ashley Dober, Brittney (Derrick) Bell, and Amber Otte; grandchild, baby Bell; sister Kim Harvey; brothers, Brian (Danielle) and Larry (Kathy) Harvey; brothers-in-law, Gary and Jason Fowler; sister-in-law, Dawn Bartman; step-brothers, Burton (Dana) and Evan (Alexandra) Kilgore; mother-in-law Vi Fowler; nieces and nephews, Tony, Melanie, Angelo, Jacob, Julian, Cierra, Faith, Izzy, Johnnyand Lila; and a host of other relatives and friends.
VISITATION Monday, October 8, 5-8pm at Lutheran Church of the Master (located at 2617 S. 114th St.). FUNERAL SERVICE Tuesday, October 9, 10am at Lutheran Church of the Master. Interment, Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the family. WESTLAWN-HILLCREST

8 long years since I hugged you around your neck. 8 long years since I kissed your lips. 8 long years since I heard you voice and you said you loved me (I said it back). 8 long years for so many unmade new memories. 8 of the longest years of my life. I was Johnny's and Tommy's Kindergarten teacher at Ashland Park. I just learned of their stories through another former student. After seeing photos of them, I could recall what bright, shining stars they were in my classroom. My thoughts and very special prayers are sent to all of you.

This is the 5th birthday without you here. One would think they wouldn't be as hard, but one would be wrong. They don't get easier, we just put a bandaid over the pain.
