Thomas Frederick Hendricks

Thomas Frederick Hendricks 84, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at his residence. He was born November 16, 1936 in Weston, Ohio to the late John D. and Helen Meyers Hendricks. He retired as a District Manager from Con Agra. Thomas started the FFA chapter in New Concord and served in the Peace Corp in Chile. He served our country and protected our freedom in the Naval Air Reserve.
He is survived by his wife Karen Shell; his children: John Matthew (Bobbie) Hendricks, Christina Marie Hendricks, Laura (Don) Brown, Kristy Lynn Shell and Mark (Margie) Shell; 13 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy Irene Huling Hendricks, his son Thomas Frederick Hendricks II; a brother Michael John Hendricks; and a sister Mary Aristeen Ogden.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 6PM, Friday, September 10 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY ROAD. A prayer service will begin at 5PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Ben Sweiterman officiating and full military honors will be provided by the American Legion #29 and VFW Post #1058. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
