Thomas “Tommy” Matthew Henson, age 57, of Springtown, Texas, was born September 21, 1966 to R.B. Henson and Rosie Arzell Forrest in Gatesville, Texas. Tommy Passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Tommy was one of four children, he grew up in Haltom City, Texas and attended Haltom City High School.
Tommy loved going fishing and was always trying to fix things. He was a loving man that had a huge heart and was friendly to everyone.
Tommy married Rhonda Kay (Hayes) Henson and they remained married until her death September 11, 2008. He later began dating Sarah Elizabeth (Lowrey) Ford and they married April 23, 2024 after years of being together.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Rhonda.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah; son, Justin Kyle Henson and his wife, Miranda; son, Brandon Taylor Henson and his wife, Angel; son, Corey Todd Henson; daughter, Courtney Jackson and her husband, James; mother, Beverly Henson; brother, Robert Henson; brother, Shawn Henson; sister, Tina Henson; 11 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and tons of friends.
In honor of Tommy, a visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2024 at the Williams and Lucas Funeral Chapel located at 517 N Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas, 76111. He will be laid to rest 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Mount Olivet Cemetery located at 2301 N Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas, 76111. The graveside service will be officiated by Jesse Wilson and the family has appointed: Justin Henson, Brandon Henson, Corey Henson, Ryan Henson, Brit Henson and Dallon Henson the honor of being the pallbearers.
Services are being handled by Alpine Funeral Home; any donations can be made directly to them. The family would like to thank you for all of the thoughts, love and prayers.
